Booking Process

1. Click the INQUIRE NOW button below and fill out the form. I’ll follow up to confirm your requested date or offer alternative options if needed.
2. You’ll receive access to your personal client portal, where you can review your session details, sign your contract, complete a short questionnaire, and view your invoice.
3. Pay a $50 retainer to reserve your date on my calendar.

Leading up to your session, I’ll guide you through everything you need: what to wear, location ideas, and answers to any questions that come up along the way.
Once we’ve selected the perfect location, I’ll send over final details including:
- TIMELINE to ensure we get that perfect “golden hour” light
- LOGISTICS: address, parking details, unique accessibility details if necessary
Now it’s time for the fun part of going shopping or digging around your closet for the best outfits for you & your family members!
I’ll keep a close eye on the weather the week before our session because you know how finicky Colorado weather can be.

Day of Your Session
You’ll feel confident & ready to shine.
Based on all of the information I’ve provided and the questions I’ve answered for you, you’ll know that this session will feel more like a playdate with your favorite humans on Earth, rather than a “photoshoot”.
Your family can relax and be yourselves.
I’ll guide you by placing you in the best lighting, position you in front of the best views, and suggest ideas on how to get the most authentic smiles out of you, your partner, and your kids.
I’ll offer gentle direction stepping in only to shape the light, the movement, or the natural elements around us.
We’ll capture a mix of images: both the classic, everyone-looking-at-the-camera moments (the ones Grandma will love), and the more candid, connection-led images that reflect your family’s true nature.

After Your Session
You cannot wait to see what we captured.
Over the next week, I’ll edit your gallery based on my signature editing style which is warm, true to life, and rich in depth. Your photos will be vibrant, yet timeless. Nothing trendy or intense.
Within a week of our session, you’ll receive a gallery that holds onto it all - the movement, the closeness, and your family’s unique dynamic during this season of life.
Gallery delivery day!
I’ll email you with a beautiful online gallery where you can look through all of the photos and pick your favorite ones. Based on the package you selected, you’ll choose your allotted number of images and download them immediately! If you have a hard time narrowing them down and want them all, simply pay to upgrade to download your full gallery.

They don’t need to!
Some of the most meaningful images come from movement, personality, and real emotion, not perfect smiles. Kids (actually most people) aren’t used to being in front of the camera with someone they just met, so I try to make the whole session as fun and playful as possible.

You’ll receive simple, thoughtful styling guidance to help everything feel cohesive without being overly matched or complicated. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and like yourselves.

Most sessions are scheduled during Golden Hour, about an hour and a half before sunset when the light is soft and flattering.
But if you need to schedule during a different time of day due to other obligations or bedtimes, we’ll make it happen.

The Simplicity & Sincerity Sessions include a set number of edited images, with the option to upgrade to your full gallery if you’d like more. The Signature Sesion is a longer session and includes all images from our session.
I carefully curate your gallery so you receive a collection that feels complete and reflective of your family.

If you fall in love with more images than your package includes, you’ll have the option to upgrade to your full gallery after viewing your photos.
